Dr. Suess Colors

I LOVE reading Dr. Suess to my three little ones and when the Paper Cutz Challenge incorporated these colors I was excited to give it a try!  This is a standard A2 card and its simply circles sized either 1 or 1 1/2 inches with a felt flower in the center.  I attempted to sew for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out :)  Thanks for coming by!  Hugs Crystal

Cricut Cardz Challenge

I created this card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge :) Thank you Mary for always keeping us motivated to try new things!!!  The hearts were cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge pg 85 and it was the boarder that I selected where the hearts weren't attached.  They were cut between 1 1/2 inches down to 3/4 inch in size.  The little envelope came from Plantin Schoolbook pg 79 the roly poly envelope at 2 inchs.  I ran the one heart through my Xyron and covered it with glitter just to add a little bling ;).  This is a standard A2 card and since I haven't added any sentiment it can really work for almost anything!  Thanks for stopping by!  Hugs Crystal

Father's Day Challenge for CardzTV

The inspiration for this card came from http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1986182?&what=keywords&si=father.  I flipped and cut my palm tree at 2 1/4 in from Life's A Beach twice in white.  Then colored it with some copic markers and finished off the coconuts with some glossy accents.  the beach is just ripped paper that I inked.  I also used some ink and daubers to get the blue sky and sun.  I used a 1 inch circle punch on a post it note and used it as a mask to make the sun.  Hope all you Father's out there enjoy your day tomorrow!!!  Shot out to Mary at CardzTV!!! Graduation Gift

Today was Kindergarten Graduation for my little Miss Jenna and her teacher Mrs. White has been such a blessing to us!  I wanted to make her something special that would truly convey how she touched our life and so many others.  This is my first time working with glass etching and vinyl with my cricut and it was so simple!  The word "inspire" came from the Gypsy Wanders cartridge.  Happy Memorial Day Weekend!!!

Here goes...

I got this great idea and digital image for these adorable cards from callmecraftyal.blogspot.com!  There is a FREE downloadable version  for the "just a note" style on her blog as well!  Thank you Alicia!!!

I used the Give a Hoot cartridge pg 35 to cut the apple and found some cork board paper at Michael's.  I cut the scalloped cork board as well as the circle with my nestiblities.  The holes were cut with my cropadile to make it look more like real lined paper.  The cards ended up about 5 in by 4 in and were a lot of fun to put together!
